— My father was a horse trainer. He lifted me up in the saddle when I was 6 months old and I’ve never considered any other way of life. I’ve trained out of various places, mostly on the Western Slope, and along the way I’ve ridden some great horses and earned World titles in just about every discipline in ApHA, APHA and AQHA events. But the sport of reining is my passion and for over 20 years I've been an active member of the Western Slope Reining Horse Association as well as the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA). As an NRHA Judge and a member of the NRHA Judges Committee, I try to impart a national perspective of the reining industry to my clients.

— Yet, I tell all my non-pro students, reining is always a challenge; you can go from Hero to Zero in less than 4 minutes! As the NRHA evolves and the sport of reining gains popularity, I believe it is very important that we keep the fun in it for everyone at every level of competition.

— Becky has been training nearly as long as I have, earning World titles in Hunt Seat competition. Today her training focus is on western, english, trail and equitation lessons for youth and adults. She is our barn manager, maintaining the training, clinic and lesson calendar as well as standing the stallions, managing our breeding services, caring for the broodmares and raising the foals.
